Jerry Huang

Jerry is a technology enthusiast who is determined to implement AI and Smart Devices to design products that improve the lives of others around him. He believes that technological progress has stagnated when it comes to the design of technologies we use every day and that increased innovation would increase the quality of life for everyone. Jerry believes that tech innovation driven by AI is the key to finding solutions for global problems. For this reason, he has conducted research on ML models and built a convolutional neural network for the rapid detection of invasive fish species to help scientists engage in environmental conservation and biodiversity efforts. He is also interested in promoting the use of AI in policy design and developing solutions to large-scale problems, leading him to develop open-source tools designed to allow young people to contribute solutions.
